Eyo, my name is Karl Carlos, and I am a Filipino 2D animator and artist currently residing in Vancouver, BC.I am a graduate of the 2D Animation and Visual Development Diploma program at Capilano University, and have previously completed an animation program at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde as well. While I am capable of working in multiple areas, I am particularly fond of character animation, editing and compositing.Animation to me is ultimately about escapism. I’ve always been drawn by its ability to bring entirely new worlds to life, universes that people can step into and lose themselves in. That has always resonated with me on a personal level, and so the form it takes doesn't really matter to me. What drives me the most is simply creating good work, no matter the medium.In a similar vein, I enjoy playing video games, reading books, watching series and movies —anything really that I can dive and immerse myself in.
